The Telephone Song  


Leader: Hey, [Names a boy in the audience to be Boy #1].
Boy #1 responds: I hear you calling my name.
Leader: Hey, [Names the same boy again – Boy #1].
Boy #1 responds: I heard you call it again.
Leader: There’s someone on the telephone.
Boy #1 responds: If it’s not [choses a boy to be Boy #2] then I'm not home.
Group: If it’s not [Boy #2] then he’s not home.
Group: With a Rick-tick-tickity-tick-a-tick-tick, With a Rick-tick-tickity-tick (pause) Yeah!
Boy #2: Hey, [Names a boy in the audience to be Boy #3].
Boy #3 responds: I hear you calling my name.
Boy #2: Hey, [Names same boy again – Boy #3].
Boy #3 responds: I heard you call it again.
Boy #2: There’s someone on the telephone.
Boy #3 responds: If it’s not [choses a boy to be Boy #4] then I'm not home.
Group: If it’s not [Boy #4] then he’s not home.
Group: With a Rick-tick-tickity-tick-a-tick-tick, With a Rick-tick-tickity-tick (pause) Yeah!
Continue with the song until all boys have been able to sing a part in the song.


Ben Franklin Cheer


Hold both hands out in front of you as if flying a kite. Jerk
back suddenly while saying, "Zap, Zap, Zap."(Lightening)
Run-on WHAT WATT?
Shopper: Have you any
four-volt two-watt bulbs?
Clerk: For what?
Shopper: No, four-volt
two-watt.
Clerk: Two what?
Shopper: yes!
Clerk: No.
 


Carpenter Cheer


Pretend to be holding a hammer in one hand and a nail
in the other. Start pounding the nail with the hammer
while saying, “Bang, Bang, Ouch.”
Mad Scientist Cheer
Pretend to hold a test tube in one hand. Pour something
into it; then something else, then shout "Boooommm!

 

Skit - WATER, WATER


Over to one side is a glass of water. One by one people approach the glass from the other
side, crawling on hands and knees and saying "water....water..." as though they are in a
desert. Each gets a little closer to the glass before he collapses dead. When the last person
reaches the glass, he pulls a toothbrush out of his pocket, dips it in the glass, and begins
brushing his teeth.
