I'd like to give the world a gift,
that all men will be free.
And though I'm just a growing boy,
There's things that I can see.
To see that Scouting is a way,
To start to understand.
That caring, helping, smiling, learning
Help me be a man.
And so at Christmas here's a gift,
That you can give to me
Please help me grow in mind and spirit,
To be what I can be.
