Curveball Crunch
8 cups popped popcorn
3 cups mini pretzels
1 cup peanuts
2 Tbsp. margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp. maple syrup
Mix popcorn, pretzels, and peanuts in a large bowl.
In a small saucepan, melt margarine, stir in brown sugar,
keep stirring until it boils. Remove from heat and stir in
maple syrup. Drizzle toffee mixture over the dry
ingredients, tossing to coat evenly. Cool, then place
1 cup portions into zip-lock baggies to take to the game.
Makes 12 bags
Baseball Cupcakes
Bake your favorite cupcakes.
Frost with vanilla frosting.
Use shoestring licorice to look
like a baseball.
Make your own Soda
Fill your glass about 1/3 of the way with
your favorite defrosted fruit juice
Put in a few ice cubes,
then pour in some seltzer water, almost
to the top. Finish off with a squeeze of
lemon.
Patriotic Pops
2 cups blue kool-aid
12 5oz. paper cups
1 cup frozen whipped topping
1 cup vanilla yogurt
12 popsicle sticks
2 cups red kool-aid
Equally divide the blue juice among the 12 paper cups. Place in the freezer until partially frozen,
about 30 - 40 minutes.
Mix together the whipped topping and the yogurt. Divide this among the 12 cups. Set a popsicle
stick in each cup and return them to the freezer for another 45 minutes. Finally, add the red juice
to the cups and return to the freezer until frozen solid.
To remove the popsicle from the paper cup, run under warm water, over the outside of the cup.
Strawberry Sparkles
12 oz. white chocolate chips
Strawberries
Blue edible glitter
Melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave according to directions on the package.
Make sure the strawberries are dry. One at a time dip the strawberries halfway into
the melted chocolate and then 1/4 of the way into the edible glitter. (The glitter is available
at party stores.) Makes about 35 - 45
