Great Events Of Scouting

CUBMASTER: On the 25th of July in 1907, Lord Baden-Powell took 22 boys with him to Brownsea Island, off England's southern coast. This was the world's first Scout camp. That little camp was the foundation of the tremendous worldwide Scouting movement. The Boy Scouts of American were organized along with Scouting associations in many countries. Today there are more than 15 million Scouts and leaders in over 150 countries.

Time changes many things, but the Scout Promise and Law are as important today as they were in the beginning. Please stand, give the Cub Scout sign and repeat the Cub Scout Promise with me, followed by the Pledge of allegiance.
