CUBS IN THE KITCHEN/05-03

Butterfly creations  


2 3oz. pkg gelatin
1 cup boiling water
Twisted licorice
Shoestring licorice
Candy dots
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Pour into an 8" square pan, and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
Using a butterfly cookie cutter, carefully cut out the shape desired. Decorate. Cut a piece of
twisted licorice for the body, use shoestring licorice for the antennas, and candy dots for color
and design.


Creature Creation


1 banana (for the body)
peanut butter (for glue)
fresh fruit (any kind, cut into different shapes)
candy (M&Ms, gummy stuff)
Use your imagination and have FUN!


Smiling Tostados


Crispy corn tortillas
Fried in 2 Tbsp. oil
Refried beans
Cheese
Spread refried beans over cooked tortillas, add cheese
Add shredded lettuce for hair, olives for eyes, carrots for nose and ears,
tomato pieces for lips
