Indian Headbands

8x11 construction paper

Cut a few pieces of construction paper lengthwise, into 3 pieces. Glue strips together to make a band long enough to fit the girl's head. Finish gluing into a complete circle. Cut a variety of feather-shaped (long marquise shapes) pieces out of desired colored construction paper. Slit feathered-shaped pieces with scissors to look like a real bird's feather. Glue feathers to the band. Allow drying before placing on head.
