CANDY JAR REINDEER 
(Pack-o-Fun Nov. 2000)
MATERIALS:
Recycled baby food jar 12" length of 3/8" black satin ribbon
2 3/8' foam egg 3" length of brown chenille stem
Espresso Bean metal paint 3/4" gold jingle bell
2 1/2" x 4" piece of light brown craft foam Jute twine
2 1/2" x 4" piece of dark. Brown craft foam.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Paint lid Coal Black. Let dry. Replace lid on jar.
2. Paint egg with Espresso Bean. While the paint is still wet, dip the paintbrush into a small amount of
Real Red for cheeks. Let dry. Dip the handle end of a paintbrush into Coal Black; touch handles to
head for the eye. Repeat for the other eye and to dot a slightly larger nose. Paint a 1/2" long mouth
line from the center to the bottom of the nose. Use a toothpick to highlight the dot in each eye and to tri-dot the top
of each cheek. Use Bright White.
3. Use a marker to draw a wiggle line on one side and along all edges of each antler and each
arm. For hooves, use Coal Black and paint 3/4" from the bottom on each side of the arms. For arm
support, insert one end of the chenille stem through the center top of the arm; twist the end for arm support.
Repeat for another arm. Glue center of arm support to center top of the lid. Glue head on the lid. Let
dry. Apply glue to the end of the antlers, and insert into the top of the head, spacing each approximately
3/8" apart. Glue each ear to the top of the head in front of antlers. For hair, cut five 1" lengths from
twine. Glue hair on top of the head between the antlers. Tie a ribbon on a bow around the bottom of
the head; cut ends at a slant. Glue a jingle bell on the center front of the bow.
SLED ORNAMENT 
Use 9 popsicle sticks. Cut 4 at an angle 1/2" from the end, using a saw or wire
cutters, then sand them. Spray or paint with red paint before gluing. For
the bottom of the sled, take two pieces of popsicle sticks to secure the sleigh and put
a runner on the bottom of the sleigh. On top of the sleigh, the "turn bar" is
glued on. Glue Holly Sprig and hanger just above turn bar.
Decorate with silver glitter and glue (or use fabric silver paint.)
CLAY POT ANGEL
Start with 2" clay pot. Paint it white. Use some lace or light blue paint
to make a scalloped bottom. Paint a 1 1/2" wooden doll head flesh
colored. Paint black for nose and mouth. Use wiggle eyes or paint
some. Take hot or Tacky Glue to attach the head to the body. Attach hair to
head with glue. Halo is a gold ring or gold pipe cleaner/chenille stem
Wings are a scalloped wood heart painted either silver, gold, or white.
Glue on the back of the angel. Put a ribbon on the neck.
