Votive Candle Holder
* Materials: Small glass jar or clear glass votive cup, 3 – 4 shades of white to light pink tissue paper, red tissue paper, Modge Podge, paintbrush, a heart-shaped paper punch, votive candle, red ribbon * Directions: Tear white and pink tissue paper into nickel to quarter size pieces. Brush Modge Podge on a small section of the outside of the jar. Cover with tissue pieces, placing shades randomly. Brush Modge Podge over tissue to adhere to jar. Continue working small areas as described until the outside of the jar is completely covered. Use a paper punch to punch hearts out of red tissue and Modge Podge onto the jar. Let dry. Place the candle in the jar. Tie ribbon around the mouth of the jar. * Tips and ideas: Use seasonal colors and shapes (shades of light blue with dark blue snowflakes). Use sparkly Modge Podge.
