Opening: Seven Seas

Preparation:
Have seven Cub Scouts stand with candles or flashlights behind
the narrator.

Narrator or Cubmaster:
The seven lights you see here represent the seven
seas and the seven continents from which our ancestors came to this great
land. Our Statue of Liberty has seven spikes coming from her crown to
represent the same seas and continents. Let’s give thanks to our God who
guided all of us here. (Pause.) Now please stand and join us in singing “God
Bless America.”
