November's Most Important Holiday

Form Cub Scouts and leaders in a large circle with parents and other children behind their Cub Scout. A leader stands in the center and asks all to bow their heads in personal prayer, and after pausing for a moment says, "Let us all pause now after a night of fun and think for a moment of the real meaning of November's most important holiday; Thanksgiving. Let us remember the phrase in the Law of the Pack that goes, "A Cub Scout gives goodwill because this should be a time for giving thanks to God and for helping other people. Now please make the Cub Scout sign and join me in repeating the Law of the Pack." End with a simple "good night" or sing "America the Beautiful".
