MORE CHEERS

MERCURY:

Say, “Mercury is the closest planet to the sun. One day is 88 days long. The shaded side is 350 degrees below zero. The sunny side is 770 degrees.” Everyone jumps up and down like your feet are burning.

VENUS

2nd closest to the sun. It is very hot, covered with clouds, and has lightning storms. Fan yourself, jump, pretend to dodge the lightning, Say, “That was a good one.”

SATURN

Second largest gaseous planet, surrounded by rings of ice & gravel. Has 9 moons, some as big as Earth, and they are more habitable than the planet. It is very beautiful. Say, “Beautiful.”
