Scouters,
This week’s update is a short one, but full of good news.
First, I want to thank two more sponsors for supporting Scouting and helping us keep our campfire glowing.
Keeping the fabric of Scouting stitched together with creativity and care.
FabricLA joined us with a creative twist — they offer felt DIY kits that would be perfect for Cub Scouts or even older Scouts with a little guidance. Each kit includes everything needed to make fun little projects like an elephant, monkey, or cat coaster. A needle and thread are required — or do like I did and use a little hot glue. You can read about our afternoon testing them out here:

Our other new sponsor, Fun Pasta Fundraising, is an old friend returning to the trail. It’s a great way to raise funds for kids and schools with fun, themed pasta shapes. Sales can be done in-person or online — simple, easy, and a great team project for Scouts!

As a quick technical note — we discovered a configuration issue with the mail server that sends out our newsletters. It mainly affected Gmail and Yahoo addresses. The issue has been fixed, but it may take a few days for everything to fully reset. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
One small thread can hold a lot together — a tent, a badge, or a felt monkey. But in Scouting, it’s the people who are the real threads: volunteers, paid staff, parents, Scouts, and sponsors — each one helping keep the program strong and steady.
From the ones organizing campouts and pack meetings to those quietly fixing a website glitch or helping fund the next project — you’re all part of what keeps our lantern burning bright.
If you’d like to help keep our lights on, gift us a hot cocoa, and ensure our campfire stays warm, consider supporting us on Ko-fi. It’s a trusted service that lets you chip in a few dollars that add up, ensuring we never run out of logs to burn:

Together, we keep the fabric of Scouting stitched with purpose, care, and a whole lot of heart.
Until next time, keep leading with curiosity, kindness, and that classic Scouting spirit.
Yours in Scouting,
Scott Robertson
