Hey Wacky Scouters!

Do you love yummy food? Do you enjoy campfires? Do you like getting a little messy in the name of deliciousness? Then welcome to the Wacky Campfire Kitchen, where the food is hot, the chefs are wild, and the recipes are so easy even your pet squirrel could help (okay, not really—please don’t let squirrels cook)!

Description of image

Recipe #1: Banana Boats

Ingredients: Banana, chocolate chips, mini marshmallows

Steps:

-Peel one side of a banana, but leave the rest of the peel on.
-Scoop out a bit of the banana inside.
-Fill the hole with chocolate chips and marshmallows.
-Wrap the whole thing in foil and place it on hot coals for 5–10 minutes.
-Open carefully and enjoy the gooey goodness with a spoon!

Wacky Tip: Try adding peanut butter, crushed cookies, or gummy bears for extra silliness!

Recipe #2: Campfire Pizza Pockets

Ingredients: Bread slices, pizza sauce, cheese, toppings (pepperoni, mushrooms, anything you like!)

Steps:

-Spread pizza sauce on one slice of bread.
-Add cheese and toppings.
-Put another slice on top and squish it!
-Wrap it in foil and cook over the fire for 5–7 minutes.
-Carefully unwrap and take a cheesy bite!

Wacky Tip: Try breakfast pizza with eggs and sausage, or dessert pizza with Nutella and strawberries!

Recipe #3: Marshmallow Fruit Kabobs

Ingredients: Marshmallows, fruit chunks (grapes, strawberries, bananas), skewers

Steps:

-Put marshmallows and fruit on a stick (alternate them).
-Toast gently over the fire. Eat like a royal forest chef!

Wacky Tip: Drizzle with chocolate syrup for extra “fancy forest vibes.”

Safety First, Sizzling Scouts!
-Always cook with an adult nearby. Keep water or sand nearby—just in case!
-Use tongs or long sticks so you don’t burn your hands.
-No wild dancing near the fire (unless it’s a safety dance) .

Wacky Chef Awards!

After your campfire feast, give out these very serious awards:

-Messiest Chef – For the most sauce-covered hands!

-Most Creative S’more – Who dared to add chips, candy, or popcorn?

-Master Marshmallow Roaster – Golden brown, not burnt!

-The “Oops, I Dropped It” Award – For the funniest food fail!

Final Crumbs of Wisdom

Campfire cooking is about having fun, trying new things, and maybe getting a little gooey. It’s not about being perfect — it’s about being adventurous (and maybe a bit wacky)! So gather your friends, grab your ingredients, and light up the (safe) fire. The forest is your kitchen, and you’re the head chef now!

Bonfire appetite, Wacky Scouters!
