Dreams are a big part of who we are and who we become. After all, we know the one who does not dream, never changes who they are or where they are going. However one has to be careful what they...   759: Boy Scouts of Harlem

I just watched “759: Boy Scouts of Harlem” which is a great documentary Scout film by Jake Boritt and Justin Szlasa about a Boy Scout Troop 759. The film is 72 minutes long. I found the film reminding me of my first year at Summer Camp as a young lad, including the fears I had and the triumphs I made. The film honestly depicts inner city Scouting and what summer camp is like for them.... [More]

  BSA 2010 Marketing

I recently came across this video on a mailing list and I thought I would share it. The content of the video is interesting but is done by BSA and takes the "company line" approach. Also seems BSA is going to provide councils with a simple hosting... [More]

The crackling thunder of firecrackers, lured me to an open window overlooking the dark alley below. Several lads stood stunned and appeared to be full of fear, as if something terrible had just happened. In the center of the group laid a boy in a puddle of blood, next to... [More]
