What you need:
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 eggs
- 1-3/4 cups molasses
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup of cooked pumpkin
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
- 1 tsp salt
- 1-1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. Cinnamon.
What to do:
Set oven to 350 degrees
1. Combine eggs in a mixing bowl. Beat until well blended.
2. Add pumpkin, molasses, water, oil, and sugar. Beat well.
3. Add dry ingredients and stir into liquid mixture until well blended.
4. Pour batter into two well-greased loaf pans. Do not fill to the top.
5. Bake for 45-50 minutes. Allow cooling slightly before serving.
