August 13 - -International Left-Handers Day
Instant Ice Cream
For each serving you will need:
1 resealable sandwich bag 1 cup whole milk
1 quart-sized resealable bag 1 teaspoon vanilla
12 ice cubes 1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons table salt
Pour milk, vanilla, and sugar into the smallest bag and seal carefully. Put ice cubes and salt into
a larger bag and add milk mixture to the bag. Seal tightly. Shake, jiggle, dance with, but dont drop
bags. In about 10 minutes, you should notice ice crystals forming. As soon as the ice cream
reaches soft-serve consistency, scoop the ice milk into a bowl and serve immediately. Or, wipe
off the inner bag, cut a hole in the corner, and squeeze it out into a cone of your mouth.
