2 tbsp sugar
¾ tsp cinnamon
¾ c butter, soften
2 egg yolks
1 tsp vanilla 1
package of French vanilla cake mix
Preheat oven to 375 °. Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Set aside. Combine butter,
egg yolks, and vanilla in a large bowl. Blend in the cake mix gradually. Roll dough to 1/8 inch thickness
on a lightly floured surface. Cut with 2 ½ inch star cookie cutter. Place 2 inches apart on
the ungreased backing sheet. Sprinkle cookies with a cinnamon-sugar mixture. Back for 6-8 minutes
or until edges are light golden brown. Cool for 1 minute on the baking sheet. Remove, and cool completely.
Store in an airtight container. Makes 3-3 ½ dozen cookies
