I am looking for your help. There are over 5,200 content items that need to be double-checked. I recently found out that a lot of the content, because of the way it has been copied into our content management system, are to one degree or another invalid HTML. I believe fixing these HTML bugs will help InsaneScouter in two ways. First, some of the reported problems of pages no loading right I think are do to tags programs like Microsoft word left behind when it was copied over. Second, I think it will help us with the search engines rankings and thus increasing organic traffic. If you know HTML, are willing to spend some time to learn HTML, and willing to help us out please drop us an email webmaster[at]insanescouter.org

 

Did you know that Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) and Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI) are comping up on October 15-17, 2010. JOTA takes place over ham radios, and JOTI takes place online mostly through chat rooms and such. For JOTI I suggest you check out ScoutLink.net which is an international Scout chat room that is fully moderated. You can access ScoutLink from InsaneScouter at http://insanescouter.org/chat/, Scoutlink is open 24 hrs a day 7 days a week 365 days a year. JOTA check with your local council to find out who will be running ham radio stations for the Scouts.
