This dough is fast and easy to make
because it doesn’t need to be cooked. It is best to use this dough for making
stuff you want to harden and keep rather than for playing with over and over again. You will
need: 1 cup flour, ¼ cup salt, ½ cup water, food coloring, a bowl and a spoon, plastic tubs or
plastic bags.
1. In the bowl, stir together the flour and salt and then add the water.
2. Mix dough with your hands. If it doesn’t hold together, add a little more water; if it is
sticky, add a little flour. The dough is just right when it doesn’t stick to your hands.
3. Divide the dough into two or more balls. Mix a few drops of food coloring into each ball.
For a marbled look, just mix the coloring in a little.
4. If you are not going to use the dough right away, store it in separate plastic bags or tubs.
It will last in the fridge for 1-2 weeks.
