I SPY BOTTLE
Columbus Day Oct. 11th
Materials:
Plastic water or pop bottle
1 and 1/2 cups wild birdseed
Items from list
Epoxy glue
Copy of list
Put a few of the items into the bottle. With a
funnel put the birdseed into the bottle. Place the rest
of the items in the bottle. With epoxy glue, glue
the lid onto the bottle. To play, find all items that
are in the bottle.

GERMAN TÜTE
Octoberfest - Oct 14th -16th
Materials:
10"x 8" piece of poster board
6"x 8" piece of tissue (wrapping paper)
White glue
Markers / Crayons
Curling ribbon
Candy (optional)
Cut the poster board to make a cone shape. Glue tissue paper along the top edge of the cone. Decorate the
outside with markers or crayons. Roll into cone shape and glue. When the glue is dry fill the cone with treats -
German chocolate, candied almonds, candy, etc. Gather tissue about 2" from the top and tie with curling
ribbon. Viola !!!
HALLOWEEN PUMPKIN
Halloween - Oct. 31st
Materials:
A chunk of wood 4"x 3"
Orange Paint
Foam paintbrush
Black Permanent marker
Hammer & Nail (drill with bit)
Sucker
Paint the woodblock orange, let dry. Draw a pumpkin face on the front with a black marker. Drill a hole
in the top of the pumpkin. (Or use the hammer and nail to make a hole in the top.) Stick the sucker in the
hole. (You could make a ghost by painting wood white and drawing a ghost face with a marker.) Enjoy!
