InsaneScouter - Dinner Closing - Ceremonies Cub Scout

Dinner Closing

EQUIPMENT: Have a large single candle on each Blue and Gold banquet table, with a leader prepared to light it. Extinguish the house lights and ask leaders to light their candies.

PERSONAL: Cubmaster, other leaders, Cub Scouts

CUBMASTER: Cub Scouting is part of family life in many countries around the world. Right now, a pack in some other part of the world is gathering as we are. They too, give the Cub Scout Promise and The Law of the Pack and call out the Cub Scout motto. What is the motto?

CUB SCOUTS: Do Your Best!

CUBMASTER: As we face one another across our tables, let us look at the candle's flame and silently thank God for the friendship and brotherhood we share. Now please join me in the Scout benediction:

Now may the great Master of all Scouts be with us till we meet again.
