safely, various types of fire equipment, fire transportation, and modes of communication.

GATHERING/PRE-OPENERS


TREASURE DIG  


Supplies needed:
• A bucket of sand
• Objects people would collect, such as shells, leaves, rocks, etc.
Have each person dig to find the treasure, one per person, then
encourage him to take their treasure and start a collection.


  COLLECTION CONTAINERS


Have either shoeboxes or egg cartons available to decorate.
Supplies needed: glue, markers, crayons, construction paper, and anything else you want.
Use your imagination!
