She: (crying) I don’t know what I’m going to do. You’ve invited 150 people for Thanksgiving.
I don’t have enough dishes. I don’t know what to serve. I have nothing to wear.
He: There, there dear. I’m sorry, it was just one of those things. I invited a few people and
before you knew it, word got around and everyone wanted to come. Even the Indians asked if
they could come. I didn’t know what to say.
She: You could have said, “No!” 150 people! What am I going to do?
Indian: [enters] Say, I want to thank you for inviting all the Indians on Thanksgiving.
She: [Cries]
Indian: What’s the matter? Did I say something wrong?
He: Oh, no. She is a little upset about Thanksgiving dinner. There are 150 people coming and
she doesn’t know what to do.
Indian: Tell her not to worry about a thing. Just leave everything to the old “Kernel” here! I’ll
help you fix a dinner that’s finger-licking good.
He: You will? But how?
Indian: It’s easy! I’m the owner of Plymouth Rock Catering. I will serve my specialty of
southern fried chicken.
She: Southern fried chicken. I’ve never heard of it before. How
does it taste? How do you make it?
Indian: That’s an old tribal secret, but I promise you will love it.
Now that’s settled. A southern fried chicken dinner for 150 on
Thursday. Right?
Indian: Okay, and don’t worry about a thing.
