Camp program newest expansion of activities, resources, renovations and lake adventures cannot be defined in a small list. The camp has hired the most attentive, hard-working and geared to teach and modivate your camper both in practical and social skills. Over 40 merit badges, Climbing, Sailing, PWC, ATV, Challenge Valley Obstacle course, Buckskin Adventure, and many more fun and exciting programs. It also serves as base camp to the Missouri River High Adventure Base, which hosts a week-long canoe trip along the historic trail of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.

Lewis and Clark Scout Reservation is on the shore of the beautiful Lewis and Clark Lake, part of the Missouri River, about 10 miles west of Yankton, South Dakota. In operation since 1957, Lewis and Clark Boy Scout Camp has hosted over 2000 Scouts and Scouters during summer camp, holiday celebrations and even more. The camp operates year-round with ability to host private events and school field trips.

With over 400 acres of camp property, there is plenty of space to explore and enjoy nature. Take a solo walk or hide under a tree for a nap. Please let your buddy know where you are going since the camp is so large, don't let your buddy worry about your whereabouts, instead of fun together! Summertime temperatures generally rise to the upper 80s by day and fall into the lower 60s at night. Most all of the campsites here are meant for tents. There are centrally located restrooms and shower facilities.

 Water and Trees

Lewis and Clark offers an extensive summer camp program with over 40 merit badges, Sailing, Challenge Valley Obstacle course, Buckskin Adventure, and many more fun and exciting programs. Building craft projects. Skits and songs. Spending time with your friends and fellow Scouts. Campfires. Sailing in the sunset. Rank advancement and merit badges. It's all there - memories that will last a lifetime. Make sure your Scouts cherish their memories, scrapbooking is a time honored tradition! The Sioux Council operates a wide range of camp programs to provide fun for all Scouts from Tiger Cubs to Venturers.

Stay hydrated and alert. If you have a problem, speak up, we are here to listen, guide, assure you 'It will be alright!'Anything is possible when you are a buddy or counseler to talk to.
Sometimes we have to listen more than talking. So we learn and sharing can be saved for later.
