It doesn’t matter if it’s the first day of school, first time meeting a new group or your first guest post on InsaneScouter - first times are difficult! I thought I’d mark my first guest post on the InsaneScouter blog as an introduction. So Hello, my name is Jason White and I’m the marketing guy at Stadri Emblems!
Junior Jason was an active member of the Cub Scouts and graduated to the Boy Scouts when that time came. The son of a machinist and a schoolteacher, I won the pinewood derby twice and still have each car. Scout camp at Camp Tri-Mount and the Klondike derby were always highlights of my year. I’m grateful for all the life experiences I gained through Scouting.
I started with Stadri nine months ago not having a clue of the nuances to embroidered patches. Lucky for me, team Stadri is built with some fantastic people who are passionate about patches and were able to teach me the differences between mar rowed boarders and die cut; embroidered patches and woven patches. While I’m still learning, the subculture of patch design, trading and design intrigues me. The meaning behind our customer’s patches is an exciting honor to be a part of.
Besides being a marketing guy, I’m an active cyclist, love reading about epic adventures and I drink way too much coffee. I live in New York’s Hudson Valley with my wife and trusty dog, Lucky.
I’m excited to have been invited to guest post on InsaneScouter and become more involved in the scouting community. While most of my posts will involve embroidered patches in some way or form, I’m open to suggestions on what readers want to know more about. Please leave a comment, email, Tweet or Facebook post if you have a suggestion or just want to say hello.
Thanks for having me.
