Hey Wacky Scouters,
This week is just a quick update—no ramblings from Jack or extra content.
Moving forward, I’ll no longer be writing the body of the newsletter as Jack or including the themed ideas. It seems like it hasn’t been resonating, as the stats have been trending down. We will likely focus only on sharing resources from various sources related to scouting. I’ll also need to figure out how to keep the "blackboard" on the side with sponsor links, since that’s something they appreciate.
The Wacky Scouter Heartbeat
"We gather and share what Scouting has to offer, simplifying and streamlining things for leaders. Scouting is more than badges, camping, or s’mores—it’s a way of being. The Scout Law and Promise are more than words; they are values, a compass—the way a scout flows. And within it all, a soft invitation toward balance and an alternative way to journey."
We Need Your Help Finding Sponsors!
Both Wacky Scouter and USScouts need funding to keep going. As a web developer, I’ve been doing what I can, but sponsorship is tough to crack. We need around 22 sponsors, but we’re nowhere near that. Do you know of any companies that align with Scouting? If you work for one, know someone there, or have a connection, maybe you could drop them a note. Or just let me know, and I’ll try to reach out. Any help in opening doors for a conversation would be greatly appreciated!
