I bombed on the Mothers Day gift for my wife.  We rearranged the room that she is using as a home office and I knew she wanted a new office chair.  So I took the kids to Office Depot and they sat in every chair there and settled on a nice one.  But the Sunday surprise didn’t go as planned.  She wants a totally different chair than the typical office swivel design.  Oh well! It’s the thought that counts. Read more on Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter May 10, 2020… Related Posts: Tuesday Scouting Hot ......

Each year, about 6% of eligible Scouts become Eagle Scouts. Zoom out to consider the entire population of Scout-age youth in the United States, and that percentage drops to about 0.3%. So yes, becoming an Eagle Scout is extremely rare. (When you look at the award’s challenging requirements, it’s easy to see why.) But what are the odds that a single Scouts BSA patrol would have two young men with the same name and same birthdate earn the Eagle Scout Award on the exact same day? That unlikely scenario played out earlier this year in Troop 120 of Mill Creek, ......

Plan a night to watch a movie about women in the field of information and communication technology (ICT) in order to celebrate International Girls in ICT Day. Background: ICT includes things like smartphones or computers, items that help people connect with each other, and learn about the world around them. International Girls in ICT Day encourages girls to consider careers in information and communication technology, a field which typically has more men than women. International Girls in ICT Day is held on the fourth Thursday of April. As Girl Scouts, we celebrate International Girls in ......

Question, has any adults had a chance to do an Eagle Board of Review? I just completed 2 and doing another one tonight. So far, it's all working out without any issues. I have a Zoom account, so I set up the meeting. I receive the email addresses on who will participate in the meeting. The candidates are good with this board. Just wondering. submitted by /u/Scouter1973 [link] [comments]...

I’ve wanted to go into Boy Scouts since I was little but for family reasons I was not allowed to. I want to go into it now since times have changed but I’m 16 and the limit is 18. I called my cousin and asked what I should do (he is a Boy Scout has been for a few years) and he said if he were in my situation he would join venture scouts. I wanted to get your guys opinion on this. (Sorry for the format I’m on mobile and if I got any information wrong I’m also sorry) ......
