SKIT – The Fly

Here's a neat run-on skit. While the Cubmaster is welcoming the kids
(after the Promise), a Cub Scout jumps up and pretends to catch a fly.
After a few leaps, he says, “Aha! I caught you,” and pretends to pull off
the wings. He places the fly on a table and says, "You'll never fly again,"
as he walks away and sits down. A few minutes later, another Scout walks to the table and
pretends to pick up the fly. He says, "You'll never walk away again,” as he pretends to
pull of the legs and places the fly back on the table. Later, another Scout walks up and
says, "I wonder what this fly is thinking? I'll analyze his brain to find out," as he pretends
to pull off the head and walks away looking at the head. Finally, the last Scout walks to
the table and says, "Yum, Yum, a raisin," and pretends to eat it.

SONG - The Muffin Man

Do you know the Muffin Man, the Muffin
Man, the Muffin Man? Do you know the
Muffin Man, who lives on gingerbread lane?
Yes, I know the Muffin Man, the Muffin
Man, the Muffin Man. Yes, I know the
Muffin Man, who lives on gingerbread lane.
We all know the Muffin Man, the Muffin
Man, the Muffin Man. We all know the
Muffin Man, who lives on gingerbread lane.
Start with one person, asking another. Then
third verse together. Then each of them finds
another person to ask and it keeps repeating
until everyone knows the Muffin Man.

Fruit Salad Cheer

Eat a large piece of pretend watermelon, spit out the seeds, then pretend to have a piece
of cantaloupe, spit out the seeds, then have a cherry, place a finger in your cheek and
give one small pop, as if spitting out the pit of the cherry.
